Sharing doesn't always mean "Thumbs Up" #Facebook

One of the things that bothers me with the new Open Graph, web-wide sharing / like feature of Facebook is the ubiquitous "thumbs up" icon. Perhaps I'm being overly sensitive, but, as an example, I actually don't want to give this article on 28 people being electrocuted and dying in India a thumbs up. I may want to refer it to a friend, or even recommend it as something worth reading, but the icon leaves a bit of a bad taste in my mouth.
