I used to have a shed in the back of my house. It wasn't a great shed by any means. Not even that good. But it was there and kept my firewood dry. It's been a bit of a windy day today in Connecticut, and unfortunately the shed decided it would RATHER live its life as an airplane. Or a sail. Or a bird. Not a nice, little bird either. A 20 foot, corrugated steel monster bird. Also that it wanted to land on my boat. Also that it wanted to crush my neighbor's fence.

Techcrunch reports that O2 has won the war to purchase VoIP calling platform Jajah. A cool $200M. A year ago British Telecom purchase Ribbit for something like $110M, showing that large telcos have no intention of sitting on the side and letting new technologies pass them by. With eBay spinning out Skype, you wonder if a big US player might look to snatch up a majority holding.
